Krasnoyarsk residents expose parking violators in courtyards

NGS24.RU is reviving its «I«m parking like…» feature, where it will again publish photos of Krasnoyarsk parking violators and comments from the GAI (State Traffic Inspectorate) on how drivers violated traffic rules and what penalties they face. We are collecting your photos with explanations in our Telegram channel every week.
The first batch of photos with parking violators was collected on Thursday, January 29. Two subscribers followed the conditions: sent photos and their explanations. We asked the GAI to comment on the images.

«Both in winter and summer, at Sergeya Lazo 28, between entrances 6 and 7, this weirdo constantly parks in that spot. As a result, garbage is not collected periodically because the garbage truck can«t get through.»
GAI comment:
«In the photo we see a violation of traffic rules — parking on the sidewalk. According to Article 12.19 part 3 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation, the fine for this offense is 1000 rubles ($10). It is necessary to understand that in a city of a million, people inevitably face a shortage of parking spaces. However, this is no reason to abandon your car anywhere without thinking about the fact that it might obstruct others, instead of spending a little more time to park legally.»

«We remind you that parking on lawns is a violation of city landscaping rules. Such incidents must be reported to the district administrative commission. Only employees of district administration commissions can draw up a report for parking on lawns.»
