Khanty-Mansi Okrug Among Top Regions for Affordable Gasoline

Yugra has entered the top five Russian regions with the most affordable gasoline. According to analysts from RIA Novosti, on the average salary, residents of Yugra can purchase 1,926 liters of AI-92 fuel.

On average in December 2025, the price of AI-92 gasoline in Yugra was 60.5 rubles (approximately $0.81 at current rates) per liter. Over the year, the cost of this fuel increased by 11%.
The leader of the ranking was Moscow, where residents on the average salary can buy 2,528 liters of AI-92 gasoline, at 61.43 rubles (about $0.82) per liter. In second place is Chukotka with an indicator of 2,463 liters at 74 rubles (about $0.99) per liter. Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug (YaNAO) took third place in the ranking: residents can afford 2,436 liters of AI-92 at 62.86 rubles (approximately $0.84) per liter. The last to surpass Yugra was the Nenets Autonomous Okrug, where on the average salary it is possible to take 1,938 liters of fuel, at 65.61 rubles (about $0.87) per liter.
The anti-leaders of the affordable gasoline ranking were Ingushetia, Dagestan, and Chechnya.
Earlier we wrote that the Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS) is investigating a collusion between two independent gas station networks in Surgut. There are suspicions that the stations deliberately set identical prices for gasoline.
