Five-Vehicle Accident on R-257 Highway Near Krasnoyarsk

On the 83rd kilometer of the R-257 «Yenisei» highway between Verkhnyaya Biryusa and Divnogorsk, traffic was completely blocked on the evening of February 2 due to a major accident. According to preliminary information, five cars collided at the site — the vehicles sustained serious damage and occupied the roadway.

As a result of the accident, medical assistance was needed for two participants. According to available data, the injuries are not life-threatening.

At the scene, State Traffic Inspectorate (GAI) officers are working. They are documenting the incident, investigating the circumstances of the crash, and organizing safety on the highway. Due to the closure, a traffic jam has formed, and drivers are asked to consider the situation and choose alternative routes if possible.

At the time of publication, traffic is moving only in one lane.

On February 2, closer to 7:00 PM, traffic on the section of the highway was fully restored.
