Two puppy sisters dumped at Khanty-Mansiysk shelter seek homes

In Khanty-Mansiysk, two 1.5-month-old puppies were dumped at the Veles animal shelter. The girls, Vika and Nika, are now in search of a new, kind home. Take a look at these little ones — maybe they are waiting for you?

According to shelter representatives, such stories happen to animal volunteers all the time. Irresponsible people quietly, without consultation, abandon puppies at the shelter, likely born to their pet dog. These careless owners do not want to take responsibility for the offspring and cannot be bothered to sterilize their dog.

«And still, people just want to get rid of them. This act is mean. Exactly that. To arrive in the evening when no one is there, without asking, and leave the little ones,» the volunteers wrote.

That is how Vika and Nika came to the shelter — two 1.5-month-old fluffy sisters with different personalities. Vika is brave, playful, fearless, and already knows how to yap. Nika is a quiet introvert, but she is ready to play, even though she is a bit scared. The puppies already eat dry and wet food on their own, use a pee pad, and love to sleep sweetly in their bed. The volunteers promise to help the new owner with vaccination and sterilization.

«Unfortunately, during the week they have been in foster care, we have not received a single response, message, or even a question about these puppies. Let us all help them get to their home as soon as possible.»
