Shelter Sought for Injured Dog in Kaskara

A difficult situation has developed in the village of Kaskara near Tyumen with domestic animals left without an owner. As reported on social media, after the death of an elderly woman on Sovetskaya Street, a dog and several cats were left unattended. The animals are forced to exist in an unheated bathhouse and under a shed.

«This happened back in December, but it was only learned about a week ago. One cat has already died, the second does not come out from under the shed. The dog looks emaciated. Plus, the dog has an injured paw, possibly frostbitten, but it»s not clear yet. Over the week, the cat and dog have been able to be fed a little,« the publication says.

A young man named Vladimir, who joined the effort to help, provided new information. According to him, a new owner has appeared on the property who is willing to give away the animals but wants to restrict access to the area. «The cat, if possible, I will catch and handle myself; with the dog, help is needed — with capturing, treatment, and temporary care,» Vladimir explained.
