Shelter Sought for Freezing Dog with Injured Paw Near Tyumen

Residents of the village of Kaskara report that a dog and a cat freezing in a house on Sovetskaya Street need help. The information has been posted online.
“A woman died in the house. She had no relatives, and several cats and a dog were left without an owner. This happened back in December, but it only became known a week ago. The animals are living practically outside in an unheated bathhouse and under a shed. One cat has already died, the second won«t come out from under the shed. The dog looks emaciated. Plus, the dog has an injured paw, possibly frostbitten, but it»s not clear yet. Over the week, they managed to feed the cat and dog a little,” the message says.
We contacted a young man named Vladimir, who decided to help the animals.
“The latest information is that a new owner has appeared there. He wants to restrict access to the property, but is willing to give up the animals. I’ll try to catch the cat and manage on my own, but with the dog I need help — with catching, treatment, and temporary housing,” the man told a correspondent for 72.RU.
During the New Year holidays, we wrote about animals that needed a home. Some stories had a happy ending — they were taken in. Look at the happy faces of the pets that found new owners.
