Sheep Rescued from Almetyevsk Reservoir
She ran away
In Almetyevsk, a sheep was spotted at the city reservoir — it jumped into the water and swam off wherever its eyes led. Employees of a boat and catamaran rental station immediately rushed to rescue it.
The animal leaped into the water right before vacationers« eyes, and people called for help. The rental staff got into a boat, reached the frightened sheep, and pulled it ashore. But the moment it was on dry land — it bolted off in an unknown direction, without even looking back.
A little later, the same runaway was spotted near the campus of an oil institute — it was darting around the grounds.
Who owns the animal is still unknown. Residents are very worried about the lost sheep«s fate and are asking its owner to respond.
«She»s scared,« a commenter wrote.
«Poor thing, she got lost — that»s why she«s running around,» a local woman wrote.
«Looks like she got lost, wandered off! We need to help her find her owner!» another user added.
