The Happy Tail cat shelter in Perm has been unable to find a home for its pedigree ward for four months now — despite his striking blue, slightly slanted eyes, no one wants to take him in. All this time the animal has been unable to adapt to life in a large «family.»
In May, six-year-old Rostik arrived at the shelter — a Neva Masquerade cat. After the death of his elderly owner, he lost the familiar home where he had been the only favorite. The move to the shelter became a real stress for him: the cat copes poorly with living alongside other animals and therefore now lives separately — volunteers have given him his own room.
With people, however, Rostik opens up quickly. The shelter says the cat loves attention, is ready to «talk» with a person on any topic and is especially happy when he is petted.
All summer Rostik has been waiting for his new family, but so far no one has come forward to take the blue-eyed beauty home. He is already fully ready to move: neutered, vaccinated, treated for parasites and uses a litter tray without filler.
The shelter hopes there will be someone for Rostik who can help him feel like a loved domestic cat again. If you like Rostik, you can call Anna — 8 (342) 298-08-82.
Recall that snow leopards at Perm Zoo recently became parents for the second time — we showed photos and video.
