Pack of stray dogs besieges Chelyabinsk school and kindergarten
A pack of aggressive stray dogs patrolling near a school, kindergarten, and music school in Chelyabinsk's Shagol settlement has parents fearing for their children's safety, as the municipal capture service fails to resolve the issue.

According to our readers, the pack consists of at least ten dogs, and they regularly «patrol» the area near School No. 28, the local music school, and Kindergarten No. 50. Letting children go to school or kindergarten alone has become unsafe.
«The dogs are aggressive, they lunge at passersby. Every trip to school or kindergarten turns into a survival challenge,» says Vitalia indignantly.
One resident of the settlement said that the dogs nearly attacked her and her toddler near the kindergarten.
«A pack appeared out of nowhere; luckily my child managed to run to me,» she wrote in a local community group.
Shagol residents claim that they and their acquaintances have contacted the capture service many times, but nothing has changed.
«They caught those that didn«t run away — the small and harmless domestic ones — but no one tried to catch these; they are too quick and street-smart, the capture service can»t find them,» explained Karina.
As a reminder, since January 1, the municipal capture service has been responsible for catching stray dogs in Chelyabinsk.
