Novosibirsk residents share cat photos to challenge world's best
Irina«s cat Persik is a six-year-old who enjoys sleeping, eating, and displaying a curious nature.
Novosibirsk residents continue to send photos of their pets after the World Cat Federation chose the best representative of the family — it was an Abyssinian cat from Russia. Let«s see which pets can compete with the winner, according to NGS readers.
Anna«s cat Joker is five years old and known for his gentle morning wake-up calls.
Joker
Yuri«s cat Busya views her family members in different roles, from hunter to feeder.
Reader Anna says that her cat is very smart, well-behaved, playful.
Alena«s kittens Maksimka and Igor share a close bond, often napping together.
“In the morning, he wakes me when he wants to eat, purring softly. I respond to him in the same way — so we chat. He comes up — and nudges my face with his nose,” shares the Siberian woman.
Persik, Irina«s cat, has reached six years and remains playful and mischievous.
Busya
Anna cares for five pets, including the independent and food-motivated cat Rysya.
Last spring, Yuri«s neighbors found kittens that were thrown out in a bag, and the man took in one of the fluffies. The cat was named Busya.
“I am her object for hunting, mom is the feeder, the child is the owner who is allowed to pet her,” notes Yuri.
Maksimka and Igor
Reader Alena showed two cats. According to her, first a cat and a she-cat appeared in the house, who were abandoned in the entrance in winter. Alena«s family took in both, and they had Igor. A bit later, they rescued another she-cat, and with Igor, Maksimka appeared.
“It«s like a feline »Santa Barbara.« The family»s habits are similar: running a lot, jumping, stealing food from the table, tearing curtains and the carpet from the wall. This restless herd can«t be stopped. But they are all very affectionate, sweet, and loved,” admits Anna.
Persik
Reader Irina says that the cat was given to her by a friend. Persik is mischievous, cute, playful, and curious.
Rysya
Reader Anna has five pets, she told about her cat Rysya, which she saw on a classified ads website 13 years ago.
“From childhood — characteristic: loves only herself and a bit me, when I«m in the kitchen and something can be eaten, spoiled to the extreme,” notes Anna. “She also loves to eat, never played with toys, wands, but sunbeams drive her crazy, even in her old age. In winter, she found an alternative — a laser pointer.”
The Siberian woman adds that every evening before bed, Rysya sits on the bed and waits to be played with, and with a sense of duty fulfilled, goes to sleep until 5 a.m.
“Early in the morning, she decides that she is the hungriest cat in the world and starts poking her muzzle into my face. And so every day. She doesn«t like the other cats and keeps to herself, can tap on the head if they bother her too much, but they don»t approach anymore,” the reader says.
