Momota the polar bear cub conquers the internet

A polar bear cub named Momota is the new star of the internet. He was born in December 2025 at an aquarium in the Japanese city of Oga to a pair of polar bears, Momo and Gota. The cub is growing fast and exploring the world. Thanks to his curiosity, ingenuity, and persistence, videos of him have gone viral around the world. The reason is simple: Momota absolutely loves the cones that aquarium workers toss into the enclosure for the bears to play with. But Momota doesn«t just bite them or swim with them — no, he likes to put them on his face like a helmet, and preferably more than one at a time, and run around ramming everything and everyone in his path.

In one such video, Momota, wearing a cone, tried to run into the den, but his mother repeatedly tried to push his «headgear» back outside. This video particularly charmed viewers — many were reminded of themselves and their own children.
