Chelyabinsk Zoo Celebrates Zebra Day with Cute Pet Video

At the Chelyabinsk Zoo on Saturday, January 31, they celebrated International Zebra Day. No speeches or solemn assemblies. Instead, a festive lunch was prepared for the striped pets: fresh spruce branches and carrot slices. In Chelyabinsk, there are currently three zebras — a male named Henry and his two companions Zara and Zephyrka. Watch the cute video shot about them.

«Our comrades are spoiled, beloved, and not used to bad treatment, all because the keepers pretty much kiss them in striped fillets. And today, to the joy of the African horses, the staff arranged a luxurious lunch of fresh spruce branches and carrots,» the zoo said. «The zebras didn»t exactly appreciate it, but they accepted the offering favorably. In the end, they were more interested in running around and shouting. But we«re used to that too and don»t take offense.«
