Chelyabinsk residents have complained about stray dogs in Gagarin Park. City hall has reminded people where to turn in such cases.

«At the Stone Quarry, it»s impossible for people to pass – it«s only 500 meters from the Kurchatov monument. A pack of 11 huge dogs with puppies has settled on the quarry beach. Homeless people have set up a couch there and are feeding the dogs. And now it»s simply impossible for people to walk around the quarry. The dogs are aggressive, protecting their little puppies. And after all, there«s a ski base in the park, ski sections for children! An adult can»t get through, so what will happen to a child if such a pack gives chase?« wrote Sergey to the editorial office.

The issue of animal capture was raised on Monday, February 2, at a meeting in city hall by the head of the city, Alexey Loshkin.

«From previous experience, I know that orders to the capture service are given based on occurred events. I appeal to residents not to hesitate, to submit their applications to the Environmental Management Department,» he advised.

Applications for the capture of stray animals are accepted by the Environmental Management and Natural Resources Department by phone at (351) 729-33-66 (during working hours) or by email at otlov.mku@mail.ru (round the clock).

Recall that since January 1, the capture of stray dogs in Chelyabinsk has been handled by the municipal service.
