Bengal cat Bingo awaits adoption after hernia surgery recovery
In Irkutsk, a home is being sought for an active, intelligent, and curious kitten Bingo of the Bengal breed. The little one got lost and wandered for several months until he ended up at one of the car services. Now he has been taken to the shelter «Time of Cats», where the fluffy one is waiting for his new owners.
As shelter owner Valentina Dubovtseva told the journalist of «IrCity», Bingo started coming to the car service in the summer. At first, he was afraid of people and treated them with suspicion, practically not approaching. The workers left food for the kitty, so Bingo survived in harsh conditions.
«Sometimes people came and tried to catch him, but it was useless. After some time, Bingo trusted one of the service employees, started approaching him closely, and that»s when we were able to catch him and put him in a carrier. The cat resisted quite a bit,« — said Valentina.
An examination at the shelter showed that Bingo had a large traumatic hernia. The cat was operated on, and now he has fully recovered. Bingo is active, cheerful, and adores hustle and bustle.
«Lately, there have been many lost Bengals. We monitored all social networks, in case Bingo»s owners would appear, but no one wrote about his disappearance,« — added Valentina.
The shelter «Time of Cats» is looking for new loving owners for Bingo who know the breed and can give the cat attention and companionship. Moreover, this active Bengal needs games and the opportunity to observe the surrounding world.
«In return, Bengals provide incredible attachment, intelligence, and a bright character. Preferably to a family with a fellow cat,» — it says on the shelter«s social networks.
