The Barnaul zoo «Forest Fairy Tale» has showcased a leopard family, with a kitten born not long ago.

Silva the leopardess is shown fiercely guarding her kitten from any potential threats in the video.

Once again, Silva and Mavrik are the parents, and the cub resembles his father, having been born as an adorable brunette. Although a month has passed since his birth, the kitten doesn«t yet roam the enclosure, as his mother vigilantly shields him from onlookers, making camera sightings rare.

Mavrik the leopard father displays his icy whiskers while grooming himself contentedly on camera.

The zoo notes that the cub is thriving and showing curiosity about the world beyond its den. However, it«s uncertain whether he»ll remain at the zoo or be transferred elsewhere in Russia; his future at «Forest Fairy Tale» is still undecided.
