The second phase of the new automated hybrid energy complex in the settlement of Sangar, Kobyaysky District, Yakutia, will be completed in August 2026. The complex will replace an old diesel station that has been operating since the 1980s. This was announced on January 29 in his Telegram channel by the head of the republic, Aysen Nikolayev.
Part of the energy for the facility«s operation will be provided by solar panels, and management and control will become modern and automated. The total capacity is 8 megawatts, of which 2 megawatts is solar generation.
«After the work is completed, the complex will provide reliable power supply to all of Sangar and key facilities: boiler houses and heating points, kindergartens and schools, healthcare, and the airport,» wrote Nikolayev.
According to him, hybrid generation has already proven effective in the republic. It reduces electricity costs and increases energy efficiency.
The first phase of the complex was launched in 2025. In total, since 2021, under energy service contracts, 13 automated hybrid energy complexes and one mobile automated energy complex with a total installed capacity of 13.7 megawatts have been built in the republic.
