Kuban Weather: Last Warm Days Before Cooling This Week

A warm cyclone will arrive in the Krasnodar Krai on January 30, which began forming over the western part of the Black Sea«s waters. Due to this, the region will be cloudy with clearings, and light rains will occur in some areas.
According to Mikhail Leus, a leading specialist at the Fobos weather center, the weather is noticeably warmer than it should be at the end of January in Kuban. The meteorologist noted that temperatures of +11–+13°C (52–55°F) are expected.
On the Black Sea coast, gusts of up to 15–20 m/s are possible in some areas. In the south, thermometers will show +12–+17°C (54–63°F), in the north — +2–+7°C (36–45°F). The Black Sea coast can also boast spring-like temperatures — +11–+16°C (52–61°F). The coldest will be in the mountains — down to -2–+3°C (28–37°F).
Overcast and relatively warm weather is promised in Krasnodar. During the day, it will warm up to +14°C (57°F), at night the temperature will be +10°C (50°F) and rain will begin, which will end only in the afternoon of January 31.
In the Krasnodar Krai from January 31 to February 4, difficult weather conditions are expected. A frontal boundary will pass through the region«s territory, which will be accompanied by precipitation. From February 1, an invasion of cold air mass is expected, associated with a sharp drop in air temperature by 10–12°C (18–22°F).
