From 6:00 on January 31 to June 1, 2026, vehicle traffic is prohibited on the section from Trefoleva Street to Andropova Street.

Maksimova Street was closed to traffic on August 25, 2025. Initially, the restriction was supposed to be in effect until November 3, but due to ongoing work, the deadlines have been repeatedly extended.

These works are part of the first stage of transforming the center of Yaroslavl into a pedestrian zone.

According to the reconstruction project, the section is planned to have tile paving, installation of new curbs and sidewalks, organization of bicycle parking, planting of shrubs and other plants, and installation of a decorative fountain with a diameter of two meters.
