Tula residents: Transport chaos after snowfall like 30 years ago

Morning crush at the bus stop
Residents of Tula are complaining about serious problems with public transport. According to city dwellers, for example, it is practically impossible to leave from Perekop in the morning — buses arrive overcrowded, people can«t fit inside and are forced to wait for the next trip, which also turns out to be packed.

The situation sharply worsened after the night snowfall. Against the backdrop of difficult road conditions in the city, the transport collapse intensified, and intervals between vehicles increased.
‘Just like 30 years ago. If a bus comes — it«s already a miracle, and if you managed to get on it, then that»s happiness,’ shares Vladimir.
Mikhail describes the situation on another section: ‘From Oboronnaya in the direction of Perekop, 1–2 trams will pass with an interval of 30 minutes, and God willing, one number 83 bus.’
Yekaterina is outraged by the very format of transport on the line: ‘Who came up with the idea to run these little boxes on routes instead of normal buses? Especially in winter, especially during rush hour?’
The organization of city transport falls under the authority of the municipality. The city administration is responsible for the work of public transport in Tula, so it is more effective to address complaints about the schedule, number of vehicles, and condition of routes to it.
City residents note that due to disruptions in movement, many are late for work and study, and trips during rush hour turn into a crush.
