On the afternoon of January 26, 2026, major Russian airlines — Aeroflot, Pobeda, and Nordwind — announced a major technical failure that affected key passenger service systems. As explained by Rosaviatsia, the incident was linked to a global malfunction in the Leonardo flight booking and ticket sales system.

Leonardo is a Russian flight booking system. It was launched in 2022 with the aim of import substitution.

By 17:50 on January 26, Rosaviatsia stated that the Leonardo system«s operation had been restored. However, the failure affected the departure and arrival schedules of airlines. According to MSK1.RU, some flight cancellations have been recorded.

The editorial board of 76.RU clarified with the Ministry of Road Economy and Transport of the Yaroslavl Region whether the mass failure affected the operation of the airport in Tunoshna.

«No, there were no delays or cancellations,» our portal was informed by the Ministry of Transport.

According to the Yaroslavl airport website, one night flight was scheduled for January 26 — at 22:35 to Kazan by airline UVT Aero. On January 27 at 19:00, a flight from St. Petersburg is scheduled to arrive, and at 19:45, the plane will depart from Yaroslavl to St. Petersburg.
