Small but key Vtorchermet street to close for two months
Detouring around the section will be problematic
In Yekaterinburg, traffic on Aptekarskaya Street (from Kollektivny Lane to Selkorovskaya) will be closed from February 16 to April 7. A small section of the street is located on Vtorchermet.
Drivers will have to detour around the closure via a narrow road along the streets: Selkorovskaya — Agronomicheskaya — Kollektivny Lane — Musorgsky. In the mornings, there will definitely be traffic jams in this area.
The closure is due to a major repair of the sewer network. We have marked the closure location on the map.
Recall that the closure of Karl Marx Street (from Gogol to Rosa Luxemburg) has been extended until August 1, 2026. Workers from the contractor Trust Uraltransspetsstroy will be carrying out construction work there.
Meanwhile, on Tavatuyskaya, it has been decided to build a new intersection with a traffic light, and on Vodoemnaya, there is already a road and bus stops, but buses do not run there.
