Passengers outraged by dirt in new Volgograd tram cabins

Volgograd citizens allege that the new tram interiors are not being cleaned on a regular basis.
Residents of Volgograd express dissatisfaction with the unsanitary conditions in the cabins of recently launched trams called «Lvyata» (lion cubs).
According to passengers, even in the morning hours, the floors in the cars are covered with a mixture of dust, snow, and anti-icing agents actively used on city streets.
— This morning I was going to work, — complained one of the demanding passengers. — The tram cabin was very dirty, and the seats were somehow wet. I asked the driver why it was so dirty in the cabin and got the answer that it simply isn«t cleaned. In my opinion, this is a bit wrong, especially considering the fare.
In photos posted on social networks, a layer of liquid dirt on the floor is indeed noticeable, although the exact date and time of the shooting are not indicated.
Representatives of the city utilities department, commenting on the situation, first asked citizens to take into account the difficult weather conditions, and then reminded that current regulations prescribe daily routine cleaning with washing of the floor and body, as well as periodic «major» cleaning with cleaning of panels and handrails.
