On the morning of January 29, Yaroslavl was paralyzed by multi-kilometer traffic jams. Transport congestion formed in various districts of the city. According to the Yandex Maps service at 09:00, the road situation is rated at 7 points.

A traffic jam formed on Moskovsky Prospekt — from the Vernisazh shopping center to the intersection with Kalinina Street. Traffic is difficult on Gagarin Street. City residents note that an accident occurred in the middle lane. A jam towards the center is gathering from the intersection of Suzdalskoye Highway and Slepnyova Street.
On Moskovsky Prospekt, there is also a jam on the section from the bus station to Vyemka. Traffic is at a standstill on Frunze Prospekt. Additionally, congestion is observed on Tormoznoye Highway.
In the center, transport congestion is recorded on Bolshaya Oktyabrskaya Street, Tolbukhin Prospekt, as well as partially on Chekhov and Sverdlov streets.
