Chelyabinsk to Launch Temporary Bus Route During Bridge Repair
Starting February 1, bus No. 16 will begin operating in the Metallurgichesky District of Chelyabinsk. The route is organized for the period of major repair of the bridge over the Miass River.

The institution «Transport Organizer of Chelyabinsk Oblast» announced on January 30 the launch of a temporary bus route No. 16 in the Metallurgichesky District starting February 1. This decision is related to the major repair of the bridge over the Miass River on Cherkasskaya Street.
Infrastructure work on the Miass River bridge has led to temporary changes in local public transport routes.

Two minibuses will operate on the route with a 25-minute interval. In the forward direction, they will follow the streets:
- Cherkasskaya Street
- Pety Kalmykova Street
- Metallurgov Highway
- Rumyantseva Street
- Bogdan Khmelnitsky Street
- Stalevarov Street
- 60th Anniversary of October Street
In the reverse direction, the path goes through:

The first departure from Pershino is at 6:08, from ChMK — at 6:38. The last buses leave at 19:37 from Pershino and at 19:17 from ChMK.

The bridge on Cherkasskaya Street was closed to traffic on August 1, 2025. The restrictions will last until June 2027.
