In Novosibirsk, bus No. 9 «Kolyvanskaya» – «Yugo-Zapadny» microdistrict is running irregularly due to a shortage of drivers, the city hall reported.

Reader Anna contacted the NGS editorial office, saying she leaves from the «Serzhanta Korotaeva» stop near Bugrinskaya Roshcha in the mornings. From 07:25 to 08:06 on the cold morning of January 15, there were no bus No. 9.

I«ve been commuting to work on routes 227 and 9 for 15 years. It was always fine, but in recent years these problems started, especially in 2025. And another issue is that on these routes there are village »Pazik« buses (small rural vehicles), which are too small for our microdistrict. Plus, the Yuzhno-Chemskoy area was built, and people also ride them,
added Anna.

The press center of Novosibirsk city hall reported that two carriers operate on the route: individual entrepreneur Zolovkin V.N. and LLC «Diamant-1». The route should have 21 vehicles, but on January 15 at 7 a.m., only five buses were on the route.

The transport department of Novosibirsk city hall has organized work to attract carriers to service the vacant runs of route No. 9. Today, all motor transport enterprises are experiencing a shortage of drivers, which negatively affects the deployment of vehicles,
the city hall reported.

In the future, there is a plan to transfer bus No. 9 to a municipal contract and replace the «Pazik» buses with large-class buses. However, no budget funds have been allocated for implementation yet.

In Novosibirsk, trolleybus No. 24, which runs on the route from the «Stanislavsky» microdistrict to the «Severnaya Korona» residential complex, has started arriving with delays. According to observations by NGS readers, the situation has been ongoing for over a month.
