Young Mother from Severodvinsk Becomes Queen at Beauty Contest
Valentina Khazyainova has won the main crown of the beauty and talent contest «Mrs. Severodvinsk — Arkhangelsk OFFICIAL». She is 27 years old, raises a young child, and works as the head of a theater studio. Valentina told 29.RU why, while on maternity leave, she decided to participate in the contest and what the title «Queen» gave her.
This beauty contest is not her first. In 2023, Valentina participated in «Miss Severodvinsk», received the title «Miss Congeniality», and was included in the «Top 5 Beauties of Severodvinsk».
«I decided to go for »Mrs.« because I felt that I needed it now. Maternity leave is monotonous, and I wanted to brighten up my life with vivid events. My husband supported me all the way and was my biggest fan,» Valentina shared.
For the casting, she had to prepare a creative performance. She performed an excerpt from the book «Warsaw Melody». For a month and a half during the contest, she participated in master classes, runway walks, and productions — life was bustling.
«On January 18, I had my birthday on the day of the contest final; at the awards ceremony, they called me up to congratulate me. I thought they»d congratulate me and I«d go back to my seat. But then they started announcing the winner, and I realized it was me. Of course, I dreamed of this; it was my goal in the contest. But the emotions are indescribable. It»s butterflies in my stomach, joy and happiness overflowing from within,« she said.
«Victory for me is an opportunity to be better; the title »Queen« is not about showing off and external beauty, but about kindness, openness, realizing my ideas, about love for myself and the world around, about active participation in the life of our city, about helping other girls and women!» Valentina affirmed.
Winning the contest brought not only emotions but also many surprises. Among the gifts presented to Valentina were a trip to Turkey and a fur coat.
Girls from the Arkhangelsk region are winning many titles in beauty contests. A candidate of sciences from Arkhangelsk became «Avia Miss — 2025». Another Severodvinsk native, Yana Kreneva, received a title at an international contest. She was also recognized as the most unique plus-size Russian woman.
