Three ice rinks in Perm will not operate for two days due to severe frosts. Here are the details.

In the coming days, severe frost is expected in Perm Krai. The Ministry of Emergency Situations (MChS) has even issued a storm warning: temperatures in the region could drop to -42°C (-44°F). Due to this, three rinks will be closed on January 22 and 23: the Expo-skating rink on Kosmonavtov Highway, the Bionord-skating rink near Teatr-Teatr, and the Tsvetnoy Ledyanoy near the Planeta shopping and entertainment center. As explained to 59.RU by representatives of all three venues, if it warms up on January 24, the rinks will reopen.

At the Yunost stadium, the administrator explained to 59.RU that skating is organized only on weekends, with announcements made in the «SK Yunost» group on VKontakte. The operation of the rink there also depends on the weather.

Earlier we published a preliminary forecast for the entire week from Andrei Shikhov.
