'Playoff atmosphere' in Lokomotiv's win over Dinamo Minsk

Yaroslavl Lokomotiv defeated Dinamo Minsk 2:1. The match took place at home on the evening of January 21. The first goal against the opponent was scored by Artur Kayumov, who missed the previous game due to the birth of his daughter. The second and decisive goal was scored by Yegor Surin. For the forward, this was his first game after a hand injury.

«Good game, excellent and deserved victory. There was a playoff atmosphere. Thanks to the fans for cheering for us so much. The opponent took the lead, but we quickly equalized. I am very happy for the guys and proud of them,» said Lokomotiv head coach Bob Hartley at a press conference with journalists.

The opponent«s head coach Dmitri Kvartalnov also praised Lokomotiv»s game and pointed out what the Dinamo Minsk team lacked in the match.

«[Our team] lacks a bit of the impudence that Lokomotiv is famous for, which is more impudent and confident,» noted Kvartalnov.

Lokomotiv«s next game (6+) will be away against Spartak on January 25.
