Forward Radulov appointed captain of star hockey team

Yaroslavl Lokomotiv forward Alexander Radulov has been chosen as the team captain for the KHL All-Star Game 2026 (6+).
«In the 2025/2026 season, Radulov has 39 points (19 goals, 20 assists) in 48 games. For the third-highest scorer in KHL history, this All-Star weekend will be the eighth of his career,» the KHL press service reported on January 22.
Radulov will lead the Russian Stars team. He will be joined by Georgy Ivanov, who will be making his debut. The Russian Stars hockey team also includes players from Avangard, Neftekhimik, Ak Bars, Spartak, and other clubs.
The All-Star Game is an exhibition game featuring the best players of the sports league. In 2026, the KHL presented four teams: the KHL Ural Stars, composed of players from Avtomobilist, Traktor, Metallurg, and Salavat Yulaev; the Russian Stars KHL RUS Stars; the young stars KHL U23 Stars; and the legionnaires« team KHL World Stars.
Yegor Surin of Lokomotiv has been selected for the young stars team for the first time.
The hockey All-Star Week will begin on February 6. On that day, the Challenge Cup match will take place (6+). Two semifinal matches will be held on February 7 (6+), and the decisive games on February 8 (6+).
