The veteran forward has been named to captain the Russian squad for the upcoming all-star event.

The Continental Hockey League (KHL) announced on 22 January that Alexander Radulov will be the captain of the Russian stars team in the upcoming KHL All-Star Game 2026.

The KHL press service reported: «In the 2025/2026 season, Radulov has 39 points (19 goals, 20 assists) in 48 games. For the third-leading scorer in KHL history, this All-Star weekend will be the eighth of his career.»

The Russian stars team, besides Radulov, includes players from Avangard, Neftekhimik, Ak Bars, Spartak, and other clubs. The debutant in this team will be Georgy Ivanov.

The All-Star Game is an exhibition event featuring the league«s best players. In 2026, four teams will be presented:

  • KHL Ural Stars — unified roster of Avtomobilist, Traktor, Metallurg, and Salavat Yulaev;
  • KHL RUS Stars — Russian stars team under Radulov«s leadership;
  • KHL U23 Stars — team of young talents;
  • KHL World Stars — team of international players.

In the young stars team, KHL U23 Stars, Lokomotiv forward Yegor Surin has been included for the first time.

Hockey Star Week starts on 6 February with the Challenge Cup (6+). On 7 February, two semi-final matches (6+) will take place, and on 8 February, the decisive games (6+) will be held.
