Yekaterinburg model recounts two years of abuse by ex-footballer husband
The model from Yekaterinburg shared details of the abuse she suffered during her marriage to a former footballer.
Yana Sapeta, a model from Yekaterinburg and winner of «The Bachelor,» supported blogger Nikki Seey, who recently publicly accused Dynamo footballer Mumi Ngamale of infidelity.
Yana recounted that she experienced a similar relationship with footballer Alexander Sapeta, who played for Ural and other clubs. In their marriage, they had a beautiful daughter named Mia, but they were unable to save the union.
“I lived for four years in an illusion of happiness and two years in hell… I was thrown out of our shared apartment, just like that, but with a child, doors were broken down, personal belongings and money were stolen… And to this day, no one supports the child. My ex-husband was also a footballer — he played for Dynamo and other clubs. For three years, I dealt with the consequences of my illusion… Now I think: ‘I shouldn’t have kept quiet back then.’ When I came to ‘The Bachelor’ project, I was just putting myself back together piece by piece,” the model said.
Yana described her marriage as being far from the happy and stable life she had hoped for.
According to Yana, her ex-husband was already dating another girl at that time, while using her car.
“My weight was 45 kg (99 lb) at a height of 174 cm (5 ft 9 in). I didn’t eat or sleep for a week, I was sobbing. At the same time, this person was living his best life with others, turned off his phone, and said he no longer wanted to know about the child — he wanted to forget us. He left us with debts of 3 million rubles ($30,000 at current rates) and blocked cards. Just remember: if anyone is in similar situations now, God helps through people,” added Yana Sapeta.
In the final episode of the show “The Bachelor,” Yana Sapeta was chosen in 2022 by Moscow farmer Alexander Grankov.
In an interview with E1.RU, the winner told how she and Alexander hid their relationship while the show was airing. Negativity immediately poured onto her on social media. Many thought the model would lose because of the child who was born from a previous man.
