Residents of Yaroslavl Oblast have openly discussed in the Telegram channel 76.RU what they consider to be red flags in men«s character and behavior, and with which men they would definitely not enter into a relationship.

“Red flag” (from English red — “red”, flag — “flag”) is a slang term denoting a warning sign in another person«s behavior, which can make interaction with them unpleasant.

No Control Whatsoever

The women admitted that they do not tolerate total control.

“If he is against my communication with friends, my phone calls, including work calls from home. If he wants to check my phone and email, asks me to get rid of videos and photos from my past life. A man without an inferiority complex, confident and respecting his woman and her personal space, would not do this. No trust — no relationship,” wrote our subscriber Oksana.

“For a family to exist, there must be mutual respect,” shared a similar opinion Tatiana.

Must Earn Money, But That«s Not Enough

Also, the ladies are not ready to see a partner who asks them for money. But even for those who earn, there are certain requirements. For example, a Yaroslavl woman under the nickname Krolyan describes a man with whom she would be uncomfortable as follows:

“If he sincerely believes that a woman should be able to do everything, and he only brings money to the family.”

This Phrase Will Ruin It

Reader Natalia is sure that one should not start a relationship with a man who answers questions with “we«ll see.”

“Look further, but definitely not with me,” commented Natalia.

“Missing Three Teeth, Can«t Use Government Services”

Another one of our subscribers, Anastasia, approached the answer thoroughly and described in detail everything that could be an obstacle to a relationship:

“For me, a red flag is if a man drinks, smokes, is a drug addict, doesn«t bathe for more than five days, is older than me by 10 or more years, younger than me by five or more years, has children from previous marriages (even if he doesn»t live with them), doesn«t know how and doesn»t want to do laundry, cook, wash dishes, and clean, wants a large family, has obesity of any degree, is taller than two meters (over 6«7”), shorter than 170 centimeters (under 5»7”), watches TV, is jealous, has no hobbies, doesn«t respect me, is lazy, lives with parents, unemployed for more than six months, has more than one chronic illness, has sexually transmitted diseases, doesn»t like to walk, has no friends, doesn«t shave his beard, doesn»t wear shirts, doesn«t brush his teeth, is a pessimist, prone to depression, hates women, has had many relationships with women, earns less than 40,000 rubles (under $400 at current rates), wears torn clothes, burps loudly, orders a lot of junk from marketplaces, buys cheap products, doesn»t plan to exercise, is missing three or more teeth, likes to fight, raises a hand against a woman, can«t manage emotions, regularly drinks soda, energy drinks, and coffee, doesn»t like anime, is afraid of doctors, can«t use Gosuslugi (the Russian government services portal), snores a lot and for a long time, has been in prison.”

Anastasia clarified that she herself is married.

“Wouldn«t Live With a Fool”
