Tovstik and Dibrova Discuss Life After Divorces and Co-Parenting
The scandal surrounding the Tovstiks« and Dibrovs» divorces continues to gain momentum. At the start of the week, Roman Tovstik«s ex-wife Elena gave a major interview to Ksenia Sobchak. The deceived former wife accused the billionaire of numerous infidelities and domestic violence. The discussion also involved Roman»s new partner Polina Dibrova, who left her husband, TV host Dmitry Dibrov, in the summer of 2025.

«Like a Cat to Cream»
The Dibrovs and Tovstiks had been acquainted for a long time as they lived next door to each other. Polina Dibrova was often present at the couple«s family celebrations, and several years ago even picked up Elena from the maternity hospital.
In recent years, as Roman admitted, his relationship with his wife had begun to crack. The situation wasn«t saved by their sixth child, who was born in 2024. According to Polina, her relationship with Roman began in early 2025. She described the feelings that arose as a flash.
«I can»t do anything about it. You know, sometimes it happens, you see a person and that«s it — like a cat to cream. You look at him and you can»t look away,« Dibrova explained in the interview.
Tovstik stated that he did not take Polina away from her family. According to him, she came to that decision herself, and the divorce from Dibrov «would have happened anyway» as the couple was in crisis. Roman noted that after it happened, he spoke with Dmitry. Despite the complexity of the situation, it all happened without drama or fights.
«I saw how hard it was for him. He told me everything to my face, that I destroyed his family nest and so on. There were no fights. I didn»t destroy anything, because it«s impossible to destroy. I don»t believe in that. Try to take a normal, healthy man away from his family. If something happens in a family, it all starts long before,« Tovstik shared.
Now Roman and his beloved live together. Their home is on the same street as Dmitry Dibrov«s mansion. Polina noted that she had no disagreements with her ex-husband on this matter — this way her and Dmitry»s sons can communicate freely with both their mom and dad.
Polina feels sympathy for her ex-husband. She emphasized that Dmitry is suffering the most because of the scandal. According to Polina, despite his silent stance, the TV host took the divorce very much to heart.
«I sincerely support him. We communicate every day, text, usually about the children. It»s hard for him. If Lena is fighting for houses and assets, then Dima has lost the person he loved,« Polina shared.
The Dibrovs managed to preserve their relationship. The couple co-parents their children and occasionally appears together at social events. The same cannot be said for Roman and Elena«s relationship. According to the businessman, he informed his wife about the divorce before it became public in the media. Since then, a war has begun between the Tovstiks, which continues to this day.
«Lena knows how to play on pity. After our conversation, she asked for one last trip to Italy — saying it was her dream. I asked how she imagined it, but in response I heard: »We«ll sleep in separate bedrooms.» I, fool that I am, agreed. Only later did I find out that she went covered in microphones to create various provocations and elicit ugly confessions from me. In all this, she has just cold calculation,« Roman stated.
Ahead for the ex-spouses are legal battles over the division of multi-million dollar real estate in Russia and abroad. According to Roman, his ex-wife set conditions he cannot meet, as all his money is tied up in business. Elena demanded he provide her with 150 million rubles (approximately $1.7 million at current rates) in compensation, apartments in the UAE, Turkey, and Cyprus, as well as the house in the Rublyovka area near Moscow where she currently lives with the younger children.
Meanwhile, as the man notes, he can only see the young children when his ex-wife lets him into the house. As for the older children, according to Tovstik, they made an independent decision to live with their father. According to the businessman, Anna, Artyom, and Andrey quickly found common ground with Polina and her children.
«Anya and Artyomka are already adults, so they made the decision themselves, they said: »We want to be with you, Dad.« Andryusha really surprised me, he»s 18, I was absolutely sure he would stay there. He packed his things and left. No matter how much I tried to persuade him… he said he wasn«t ready to stay there,» Roman shared.
The letter from the Tovstiks« eldest daughter Anna was also addressed. The teenager accused her mother of lying and called her a »rat.« Elena could not hold back tears while reading the angry lines.
«I guarantee you, you will rot alone. Don»t even come near me. Because, who knows, I might not hold back. You acted very low and mean. How could you just trample all over Dad and then run off with your diamonds?! You know, I couldn«t care less about you. And don»t you dare now say that you«re such a victim who gave birth to us, and we»re supposed to feel sorry for you,« Anna addressed her mother.
In the new interview, Anna herself was given a chance to speak. The girl explained that she was emotional when writing the letter and regrets what she did.
«I shouldn»t have written such a harsh letter. I think it was very difficult and painful for Mom to read it. I understand that perfectly. I wrote it all myself, no one dictated anything to me. I was very hurt. Actually, I just wanted to get through to Mom, I kept telling her and telling her, but she didn«t hear me. Everything went in one ear and out the other when I told her about my problems. She wasn»t involved in my personal life. I understand that Mom loves me. I love her very much too, and she will always be my mom,« Anya says.
At the same time, the teenager notes that her mother tends to dramatize events. Polina and Roman also commented on her unstable emotional state. According to Dibrova, Elena has threatened her.
«Tovstik is a person with an unstable psyche. She plans to throw acid on me. Yesterday I asked Roman to find me a security guard — he hired one. Elena threatens both me and herself. She says if we appear together somewhere again with Roma and we get photographed, she will kill herself. I believe she needs a specialist,» Polina stated.
