Stavropol Blogger and Wife Visit Monastery for Restoration
The couple visited the Church of the Exaltation of the Cross as part of their trip to the monastery.
The couple continues to travel, but this time Borodina and Serdyukov decided to go not to distant countries, but to Tver Oblast. The main location was the Church of the Exaltation of the Cross, which is part of the Nilov-Stolobensky Monastery on Lake Seliger.
As Nikolai Serdyukov shared on his social media, the trip occurred last week, and they traveled there with his wife Ksenia Borodina for a specific purpose.
«Last week we were in one of the most beautiful and revered places in Russia. And we went there not for no reason — our friend Artem Rublev has been restoring the Church of the Exaltation of the Cross for the second year now,» wrote Nikolai.
They came to the church that is undergoing restoration efforts at the Nilov-Stolobensky Monastery.
On his channel, the blogger, as always, decided to act as a guide and talked about this location.
«Unlike other buildings executed in the Byzantine style, this church is built in the spirit of Russian Baroque. Unfortunately, during Soviet times, much was lost. The stucco was knocked off the walls, and the building was used as a diesel power substation,» shared Nikolai Serdyukov.
The couple even managed to participate in the restoration of the iconostasis and try working with gold leaf. Apparently, Nikolai was even quite good at it. Evidently, the Stavropol blogger liked the atmosphere so much that he was left impressed.
«Here you enter a world of solitude and bliss. Nowadays, few roads lead to such places, but perhaps that»s why they are so valuable,« wrote the blogger.
Nikolai Serdyukov was deeply impressed by the atmosphere and restoration work at the monastery.
After traveling to the holy places, the couple returned to Moscow, where they had to deal with the hacking of Ksenia Borodina«s account. It turned out that scammers decided to hold a contest, through which they profited from the TV presenter»s subscribers. She regained access and recorded an appeal to her subscribers.
But the most interesting thing is that at the same time, the account of Serdyukov«s ex-wife Alina Akilova was also hacked. Posts began appearing on her social media about Nikolai»s affair with Ksenia Borodina when he was in his first marriage.
