Figure skater Yevgenia Medvedeva has announced that she is getting married. On her social media, she posted a romantic video where dancer Ildar Gainutdinov proposes to her against the backdrop of nighttime Moscow.

« I want to promise you that I will always be by your side and never give you away. I will do everything possible for you, everything I can. Will you marry me? » — getting down on one knee, Ildar said.

Hearing such a promise, Medvedeva could not hold back her emotions. With tears in her eyes, she said «yes» and also knelt down to hug and kiss her future husband.

According to the caption, the couple got engaged on November 7, but Medvedeva was in no hurry to share the happy news. In recent days, she has been appearing at events with a sparkling diamond on her ring finger, but fans could only guess whether it was an engagement ring or just new jewelry.

Yevgenia met Ildar last year during the filming of the show «Zvyozdnye Tantsy» (Star Dances show) (16+). They were paired together and immediately connected. Medvedeva and Gainutdinov spent more and more time together: first staying after rehearsals, then starting to go out together and travel on tours jointly. During one such trip, the athlete realized: before her was her true love.

Medvedeva only started speaking openly about their relationship in the spring of 2025. She began publishing touching photos with Ildar, as well as giving joint interviews.
