MMA fighter says wife seeks revenge after he asked for divorce
The couple were married in August.
Andrey, a resident of Omsk accused of breaking his wife Elvira«s nose in mid-November, has told his version of events to NGS55.RU. The man denies everything and says his wife did not like that he wanted a divorce. He believes all her actions are for hype (public attention). When asked why he decided to divorce, he answered, »it«s personal and family».
«She perhaps didn»t like that I wanted a divorce from her. And she wants to get some sort of revenge. But these are just my speculations, I cannot state this 100%. If she is blowing things up from her side, well let her blow things up.«
Andrey claims there is no proof that he broke Elvira«s nose.
«Where is this proof that I did it. That is, she went to the hospital on the 25th, on the 22nd we parted ways and didn»t see each other. Where was she, excuse me, for three days. Did anyone ask that question? We were at the Civil Registry Office on the 22nd. The person who accepted the application said she had no injuries,« insists Andrey.
The young man says he is not offended or angry at the girl. He considers her actions foolish.
«I»m not offended at her, I«m not angry, I have no hatred for her, but it»s just foolish. When a person gets married in church, gives a vow before God, and then when something like this happens.«
