Miss Yekaterinburg shares wedding details with hockey player spouse
The couple became parents in October 2025 with the birth of their son Fedor.
Blogger and «Miss Yekaterinburg – 2016» Yelizaveta Konnova (Anikhovskaya) and her husband, hockey player Alexander, were guests on the podcast of wedding photographer Alexa Curly. In an hour-long video on YouTube, the couple talked about their wedding and long-distance relationship.
Alexander admitted that he fell in love with Lisa at first sight. After three and a half years, he proposed to her in the mountains in Uzbekistan, before the New Year. According to Yelizaveta, she had to directly tell her beloved that she was expecting this from him.
“I realized that I don«t know how to drop hints, I speak directly. This is bad, girls, you shouldn»t do that. You need to be wiser in this matter,” said Anikhovskaya.
Having decided to take the important step, Sasha started thinking about how exactly he would propose.
“It was like: ‘Well, that«s it, I have to propose.’ How to do it? What ring? Lisa even tells me: ‘If anything, Cartier, all that.’ I think: ‘Well, okay, fine.’ I go in, look — 1.5 million rubles (about $15,000 at current rates), right? Hmm…”, recalled Alexander.
The couple registered their marriage at the civil registry office on 19 April 2024, and the celebration with guests took place later, in June. However, as the spouses recounted, their celebration was under threat.
Lisa and Sasha prepared for the registration in a hurry. Just a few days before the big day, they didn«t even have their outfits ready. But that wasn»t the worst part.
“We arrive in St. Petersburg at seven in the evening. The next day we have our wedding, and they call us and say that our registration at the civil registry office was canceled. And our parents are coming from Moscow and Yekaterinburg. We«re like: ‘What are we supposed to do?’”, said Yelizaveta.
The newlyweds tried not to give in to emotions, although it wasn«t easy for them. Despite what happened, Lisa didn»t cancel her appointment with the makeup artist, trying to find another civil registry office where they could register. Meanwhile, Sasha went to find out what happened with their previous appointment. Then it turned out that there was some confusion, and the registration was supposed to be on a different day, but they allowed it to be moved to the desired date. In the end, everything went as planned.
Alexander noted that this story is very memorable to him. And he also shared what he considers the cutest moment from the wedding day.
“How I carried Lisa in my arms to the room when she fell asleep, it was very touching,” said Alexander.
A month ago, in October 2025, Yelizaveta and Alexander became parents. They had a son, Fedor.
Yelizaveta announced her pregnancy in June, publishing a touching video with her husband. The couple has been together since 2020. In an interview with E1.RU, Yelizaveta talked about how their relationship began and said that she dreams of a large family.
