Katerina Shpitsa Shares Love Stories on Cooking Show

Actress Katerina Shpitsa participated in filming the show «Vkusno s Anfisoy Chekhovoy. Lyubovnoye nastroenie» (16+) on TV3 channel. She made pancakes and shared stories about her crushes and love relationships.
The program «Vkusno s Anfisoy Chekhovoy. Lyubovnoye nastroenie» is a cooking-style show where celebrity guests prepare dishes with host Anfisa Chekhova and share personal love stories.
Katerina Shpitsa talked about her family — her parents lived in peace and love, supported each other, and were hospitable. The actress recalled that she first fell in love with a theater studio colleague, but he was «catastrophically older» — she was 13, and he was 19.
«I had a crush on him for years without any reciprocation,» the actress admitted. «When classes ended, I»d rush to change and try to coordinate walking to the bus stop with him. Sometimes I«d go to a farther stop, even if it was out of my way.»
The actress remembered meeting her first husband, the father of her son Herman, on set under amusing circumstances.
«He was the stunt coordinator»s assistant and was directing a scene where my character was being beaten,« the actress recalled. »You know how sometimes there«s an instant spark? I said something like, »Konstantin, don«t worry, you can choke me normally, I have a strong neck.» He liked that joke, we laughed, and started talking.«
The couple lived together for almost four years. Fatherhood was a challenge for the young man. The actress believes that children don»t strengthen marriage but test the relationship and allow you to learn more about yourself.
They separated in 2014, but her ex-husband Konstantin continues to see their son.
At the end, Katerina shared a piece of wisdom she read in a book.
«When you marry or get married, remember that you»re getting a finished product, not a semi-finished one, and don«t try to change it.»
