Voronezh Region Leads National Anti-Corruption Ranking

The region scored 85 out of 100 points, demonstrating high results across key assessment criteria. The rate of detected corruption crimes was 1.66 per 10,000 population, which is one of the best in the country. During the assessment period, 52 public servants were dismissed due to loss of trust. In the media in 2024, 160 publications on corruption were recorded, and in terms of government procurement transparency, the region ranked 14th in the nationwide rating.
For comparison, the highest number of corruption crimes per 10,000 residents was recorded in Buryatia (8.26), and the lowest — in the Nenets Autonomous Okrug (0.14). The absolute leader in the number of officials dismissed for loss of trust was Moscow (86 people). The most transparent in the sphere of government procurement were recognized as the authorities of Tambov Region, and the maximum number of news reports on corruption per year was recorded in Kostroma Region (162 publications).
