Russia, US, Ukraine to Hold New Talks on February 1

The next meeting of delegations from Russia, the United States, and Ukraine in Abu Dhabi is scheduled for February 1. Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated this in his Telegram channel.
«We preliminarily discussed that the teams will meet again on Sunday. It would be good if we can accelerate [the timing of] this meeting,» he said in his video address.
Zelenskyy also reported that the Ukrainian delegation, upon returning from Abu Dhabi, briefed him on what the sides discussed on January 23 and 24. According to him, during the past two-day negotiations «various military matters» were discussed. Moreover, decisions on some of them should be prepared for the next meeting, he added.
Despite all attempts to achieve peace, Zelenskyy stated that he will not give up territories «under any circumstances». Press Secretary of the Russian President Dmitry Peskov explained that expecting effectiveness from such complex negotiations would be a mistake. However, the countries have not refused new meetings. Consultations will continue in the near future.
Special Representative of Russian President Vladimir Putin, Kirill Dmitriev, is confident that the peace process is being hindered precisely by Volodymyr Zelenskyy. He criticized his speech at the World Economic Forum in Davos.
It is also not ruled out that the consultations in the UAE could lead to a personal meeting between Russian President Vladimir Putin and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy. More details on this were reported here.
