Krasnodar Posts Over 20 Transport Dept. Jobs, Lists Salaries
The Krasnodar city administration has advertised numerous positions in its transport department.
On January 22, the Krasnodar administration posted over 20 vacancies in the Department of Transport and Road Infrastructure. Journalists from 93.RU noted this, pointing out that such active recruitment had not been seen before. For comparison, the architecture department has been seeking one specialist since summer 2024, and the education department one employee since spring 2025.

Salaries are listed after personal income tax deduction and without additional payments for length of service or rank.

93.RU has requested information from the mayor«s office press service on what prompted such a large-scale search for employees, but has not yet received a response.
Previously, the editorial office of 93.RU obtained an anti-corruption lawsuit from the Prosecutor General«s Office, with respondents including State Duma deputy Andrei Doroshenko and Legislative Assembly of Krasnodar Krai deputy Alexander Karpenko. Their companies consistently win multi-million and multi-billion state contracts for road construction and repair in Krasnodar and the region.
For example, Karpenko«s firms are currently repairing the Turgenev Bridge (1.2 billion rubles, approx. $13.3 million USD), constructing an interchange at Volodarsky and Tikhoretskaya streets (4 billion rubles, approx. $44.4 million USD), reconstructing the Fadeevsky Overpass (2.5 billion rubles, approx. $27.8 million USD), and previously, his company built 3 kilometers of road on Starokubanskaya Street for nearly 2 billion rubles (approx. $22.2 million USD). Doroshenko»s firm, registered in his children«s names, is currently reconstructing the Western Bypass for 2.5 billion rubles (approx. $27.8 million USD). The customer for these contracts is the Krasnodar administration.
Additionally, on January 22, it became known that the Minister of Transport and Road Infrastructure of Kuban, Alexei Pereverzev, was placed in custody. The day before, searches were conducted at his premises. The official is suspected under Part 4 of Article 159 of the Russian Criminal Code (fraud on an especially large scale). His deputies, Alexei Smagliuk and Alexander Dashuk, were also detained. All three are suspected of involvement in a scheme to divert budget funds into shadow circulation and «capture road construction projects» in Kuban, in which, according to law enforcement, Karpenko and Doroshenko also participated.
