Khabirov introduces KVN-famous deputy to oversee Bashkiria tourism

Head of Bashkiria Radii Khabirov spoke about a meeting with Deputy Chairman of the State Duma Vladislav Davankov and head of the parliamentary Committee on Tourism Sangadzhi Tarbaev. The latter, as Khabirov noted, has taken on overseeing the tourism industry in the republic.

«I believe that his experience, correct and wise advice, and assistance in managing processes will contribute to the development of this industry,» wrote the head of Bashkiria.

Sangadzhi Tarbaev is known to many for his performances in KVN (the Russian comedy show Club of the Merry and Inventive). He was part of the team from the Russian University of Peoples« Friendship, which became champion in 2006. Afterwards, Tarbaev engaged in public and political activities in his native Kalmykia, and now sits in the State Duma from the New People party.

The second guest of the head of Bashkiria is also from the New People party. Vladislav Davankov is the deputy head of the party. Khabirov noted that the New People have a strong branch in the republic and wished them success.

«Vladislav Andreyevich Davankov is from the cohort of new, talented politicians,» stated the head of the republic.

As for tourism in Bashkiria, the structures responsible for the industry are still recovering from last year«s scandal. Then, the head of the tourism center, Arthur Idelbaev, was arrested, after which the head of the republican ministry was replaced. In January 2026, it became known about the death of the former head of a related department, who was also attempted to be dismissed during the purge.
