Head of Primorsko-Akhtarsky District Maxim Bondarenko has resigned. This decision was approved by the council of deputies on January 21. The official had held this position since January 2018. After resigning, Bondarenko wrote in his channel:
«Dear friends. Thank you very much for the words of support. And to those who write nasty things, health and prosperity.»
Later, the prosecutor«s office of Krasnodar Krai stated that Bondarenko was dismissed due to loss of trust. The reason is the submission of an incomplete income declaration, as well as »failure to take measures to prevent and resolve conflicts of interest in the redistribution of a land plot of undelimited state property.«
On January 20, it became known that security forces came with searches to the official. According to the portal 93.RU, this attention is related to the construction in the khutor (village) of Novonekrasovsky of a social service house (for people with disabilities) for 2 billion rubles (approximately $20 million at current rates).
The next day, on social media, Bondarenko posted a video of the dance of the little swans from the second act of the ballet «Swan Lake». The portal 93.RU tried 47 times to contact by phone the head of the press service of the district administration, Natalia Molokitina, to find out the reason for such an ambiguous publication, but the woman simply hung up or did not answer the call.
