Former Tomsk deputy governor Andrey Dunaev appointed to DPR post

Andrey Dunaev has taken the post of first deputy head of the administration of the head and government of the Donetsk People«s Republic (DPR). The decree on his appointment was published on January 26 on the website of the region»s head Denis Pushilin.
«Appoint Andrey Gennadyevich Dunaev as first deputy head of the administration of the head and government of the Donetsk People«s Republic. This decree comes into force from the day of its signing,» the text of the decree states.
Dunaev was appointed to the position of first deputy governor of Tomsk Oblast in May 2023. He was tasked with overseeing two departments in the regional administration — for internal and information policy. Moreover, he was to «conduct a reboot of the socio-political sphere of the region.» December 30, 2025 was the official«s last working day.
