Transbaikal to modernize job centers with free retraining by 2027

Yekaterina Kvashenkova, head of the Department of Labor and Employment in Transbaikal Krai, spoke at the Civil Forum in Chita on January 21, stating that based on job centers in 2027, Transbaikal residents will be able to undergo free retraining, acquire a new profession or specialty.

«Have you heard about the labor exchange and all that? That«s it, we»re moving away from all that. We are changing for the better, striving to be better, to speak with you openly and transparently. Therefore, in 2027, every job center in the municipality will be changed according to new standards. More useful for people, no matter what age. Retraining can be done for free. Finding a new profession, specialty can be done for free. Going through social adaptation, finding out who I want to be, self-discovery — all through us,» said Yekaterina Kvashenkova.

Additionally, a youth club will be opened based on the job center in Chita to gather feedback from young people, learn their needs, and adjust future work.
