Ryazan Residents Prioritize Personal or Collective Success: Sociologists Say

The survey highlights that team accomplishments hold significant value for a majority of Ryazan«s workforce.
Every second Ryazan resident (52%) considers the results of the entire team«s work more important, while 36% would like to stand out against their colleagues, according to a new study by the SuperJob portal.
Moreover, men more often than women admitted that individual achievements are more important to them (42% and 30% respectively).
As the age of respondents increases, the number focused on team success grows, while the number striving to stand out against colleagues decreases. However, with an increase in income level, the situation changes — the higher the salary, the less important individual results are and the more important team results are.
Sociologists explain this by the fact that among those earning from 150,000 rubles per month (approximately $1,700 at current rates), there are more managers.
The study was conducted from January 12 to 16. The survey involved representatives of the economically active population with experience working in teams.
