Omsk Reveals Salaries for Municipal Transport Drivers

Omsk«s municipal transport drivers have varying salary levels that are subject to planned indexation.

As of January 1, 2026, there were 1,130 municipal transport drivers working in Omsk. Of these, 175 were women, and the rest were men. This data was published by Mayor Sergey Shelest in his Telegram channel.
The city head also provided information on average wages. Based on last year«s results, bus drivers earned an average of 114,287 rubles (approximately $1,143 at current rates) per month, trolleybus drivers 97,503 rubles (about $975), and tram drivers 87,642 rubles (around $876).
‘Throughout 2026, a 5.1% indexation of tariff rates and official salaries is planned for all employees of Passenger Enterprise No. 8 and Electric Transport,’ Shelest said.
In September 2025, NGS55.RU reported on transport workers« salaries. At that time, drivers of JSC Passenger Enterprise No. 8 earned an average of 110,572 rubles (about $1,106) per month, while the salary for tram and trolleybus drivers was 93,195 rubles (approximately $932). Conductors received payments ranging from 40,000 to 46,000 rubles (roughly $400 to $460).
