«Take the Money from the Very Start»

Our interviewee is named Eva (name changed). She is 30 years old and has been engaged in prostitution for three years. Eva emphasizes that she calls things by their proper names and sees no difference between the concepts of «prostitution» and «escort»—according to her, for the workers themselves, it«s the same thing, just the latter sounds more pretentious.

«For two years I haven»t worked as intensively, just for fun, because I like sex, and in the last 2–3 months I started working seriously, independently, and it has somehow simplified my life,« she began her story.

She also entered this field «for fun,» as our interviewee notes. According to Eva, an ex-boyfriend once joked that the profession of a woman of easy virtue would suit her. That thought stuck in her head over time, and she decided to try it—by that point, Eva was already single. She didn«t get used to the work immediately: at first, everything seemed strange and unusual. Only after several years of attempts did she start working consistently.

«I get up, log into my account, and start posting ads. Every hour I write a post saying I»m waiting for a meeting and respond to people«s messages. At some point, a sensible person comes along who asks relevant questions: how much does it cost, I need this and that, I»ll come at such and such a time, or you need to come to this place. Well, then the process of intercourse follows. You absolutely must take the money from the very beginning, and the timer is also started as soon as the person walks through the door. You immediately take the cash for all the services the person wants to buy. He might say during the process: «Let»s do this, I«ll pay you later.» And then you do it, and he«s like: »I didn«t like it, I»m not paying,«» shared Eva.

The so-called pimp or mentor doesn«t exist for the girl—she works for herself. As a workplace, she uses either her own apartment or an address where the client invites her. At the same time, Eva admitted that she prefers to host at her own home, as she considers it safer.

Clients find Eva not only through social media accounts but also on special websites.

«You just pay for advertising for a month and can buy various services, for example, bumping your profile to the top, premium profiles, verified photos to inspire more trust,» explained the interviewee.

According to her, if she works without days off, she can earn about 200,000 rubles a month (approximately $2,200 at current rates), and if she «puts in a bit more effort»—up to 400,000 rubles (approximately $4,400).

«I worked exactly 15 full shifts: when I went to work in the morning, posted profiles, responded to everyone immediately, and that way I got 4–5 clients a day,» the girl specified.

Taboos, STDs, and «Wild Requests» from Clients

Eva always uses protection with clients, although, according to her, they often ask for the opposite. The interviewee notes that she doesn«t understand such logic—how can one go to a prostitute without protection, even despite regular check-ups. For example, Eva herself gets tested for sexually transmitted diseases every month.

She also shared that among her clients, there are unusual and sometimes harsh requests related to submission and role-playing scenarios.

«I have clients—slaves who like to submit and be humiliated. And the harshest: one guy had to be f***** with a strap-on, then I had to [urinate] on him so he would drink that urine. And that, I guess, was the harshest thing. Oh no, another one: I had to pretend to be a client»s daughter, that was harsh. I don«t know why I agreed to that. Later he even texted me, asked, but I already ignored him,» Eva recounted.

In her work, our interviewee also has strict taboos. She doesn«t consume substances or alcohol brought by clients, as she considers it unsafe. In the intimate sphere, she also has a strict ban on everything related to feces.

«I haven»t had aggressive clients. Only one: he came, knew the price in advance. He hands over three thousand, says «Let»s do something.« I refuse, start pushing him, and he squeezes me and doesn»t let go. He wanted to rape me. That was the scariest thing. And all the others—they are harmless, sweethearts,« the girl shared.

Mom Said: «Just Don»t Do It in Our City«

Actually, Eva wasn«t born in Kazan—she moved to the city several years ago. Previously, she studied to be a programmer and an economist but never finished her education.

«It wasn»t important to me, I was more interested in living this life, not studying some b*******. I worked as a taxi driver, in delivery, as a video editor, and as a business trip organizer,« our interviewee said.

The girl also noted that she«s interested in ethical hacking and doesn»t rule out that she might master this profession in the future.

Since Eva has been working in escorting, she hasn«t been in a relationship. According to her, it would be difficult for a partner to accept her work. She admits that she currently doesn»t feel a strong desire to find a soulmate. There was a period when she thought about starting a family, but ultimately came to the conclusion that it was too early for her.

«I would never have done things differently, even if I could go back. Exactly what I»ve been through has made me who I am,« reflected the sex industry worker.

Eva«s relatives don»t know what she does. She assumes that they likely never will, as the family lives in another city.

«I tell my sister I work in webcam. Perhaps someone suspects, perhaps mom suspects, but why talk to her about it. When she assumed I was engaged in prostitution, she said: »Just don«t do it in our city,»« Eva laughed.

The 116.RU correspondent also asked Eva how she would feel if her daughter in the future decided to enter this field. The interviewee answered that she wouldn«t judge her.

«But at the same time, you need to restore her common sense if it»s lacking. Forcing her makes no sense at all. If a person really wants it, it will be easier to support them than to stop them,« the girl considered.

Disadvantages of the Job

Although our interviewee remains in the profession, she urges other girls not to go into this field—according to her, there are plenty of disadvantages. She believes it«s easiest to change jobs for those who have a clear understanding of their own boundaries.

«You never know who will come to you, you don»t know what they might do. In my practice, there have been few strange and dangerous people, perhaps I just have good karma. You have to get checked constantly because anything can happen. You can be deceived. And in essence, you«re working with crazy people. Without accepting any outcome, it will be hard to work. You will constantly experience fear, money can go to your head, it»s hard to start relationships,« Eva concluded.
