According to data from the service «Avito Rabota», by the end of 2025, the profession of driller became the leader in income among blue-collar specialties in Nizhny Novgorod Region.
Experienced specialists in this field are offered an average of 179 thousand rubles per month (about $2,000 at current rates). Over the year, the pay level has risen by 54%. The specific amount depends on qualifications, working conditions, and may include shift work.
Second place in the ranking was taken by blacksmiths with an average salary of 176 thousand rubles (about $2,000). In third position are electricians, who are offered about 164 thousand rubles (about $1,800).
A representative of «Avito Rabota», Andrey Kucheryankov, commented on the situation: «The growth in salary offers for blue-collar specialties reflects market demand for qualified employees and increasing competition for personnel against the backdrop of record low unemployment.»
The expert also noted an increase in the number of vacancies for facade workers, tilers, and auto painters among high-paying offers.
In another study dedicated to January 2026, the most lucrative vacancy in Nizhny Novgorod was named as a driver-expeditor of category «E» in the freight transportation sector.
