Altai Territory: Welders and Boilermakers Can Earn 250,000 Rubles

The Altai Territory Department of Labor and Employment shared with NGS22.RU information about the most attractive job offers in the regional labor market. As of January 20, 2026, about 17,000 vacancies are posted on the unified digital platform «Work in Russia».
Among them are offers with very impressive salaries that can reach 250,000 rubles (approximately $2,500 at current rates). The highest-paying positions were for manual electric welders and boilermakers.
Also among the income leaders are installers, who can be paid up to 200,000 rubles (approximately $2,000 at current rates). Engineering specialties can bring in up to 170,000 rubles (approximately $1,700 at current rates), and car drivers up to 160,000 rubles (approximately $1,600 at current rates).
The department added that the salary size directly depends on the candidate«s qualifications, work experience, as well as the specifics and working conditions at a particular enterprise.
